I was successful selling condominiums and found that I genuinely enjoyed working with clients. I was encouraged to take the real estate course and subsequently I became a licensed realtor in 1976.
I lived and worked on the Westside of Vancouver in an area of upscale homes. After 10 years of dealing with all aspects of real estate from property assembly to marketing residential listings, I felt it was important to broaden my experience.
After completing the mortgage broker program, I joined Canada Trust's head office in Vancouver as a Commercial Mortgage Lender. At Canada Trust, I was responsible for the existing commercial portfolio for all of British Columbia and worked on new business with my associates. This was an extremely rewarding career and was invaluable in my development as a professional realtor.
I joined Coast Realty Group in 2001 and have found Coast to be a wonderful working environment of professionals. The people are honest and hard working and do believe in the company mission statement of "PEOPLE ABOVE ALL".
