Gary's business career of over 30 years has included senior management positions with several of Western Canada's largest advertising agencies and on the client side as vice-president of marketing for a major consumer company. His strategic direction was instrumental in the creation of national and international award-winning campaigns for a broad range of packaged goods and service-oriented accounts including Labatt (several brands including Kokanee), Earl's Restaurants, 7-Eleven, Dairyworld, BC Lottery Corporation and BC Children's Hospital.

In 1987, Gary was appointed Managing Director of Scali, McCabe, Sloves (N.Y.-based) where he played a key role in building the agency to the third largest in Western Canada. With partners Bob Bryant and Darrel Shee, the agency evolved into Bryant, Fulton & Shee Advertising, one of the most respected strategic marketing and creative agencies in Canada. His areas of expertise are in consumer motivation and behavior research, communication, marketing, contract negotiation and all forms of advertising.

After Carole joined Coast in 2001, Gary became more and more involved in the real estate business by assisting Carole. In 2005, Gary completed the UBC Sauder School of Business real estate course and now, after six successful years as a licensed realtor, he has allowed his license to expire, but will continue to work with Carole as her marketing person and assistant. Together, Carole and Gary offer an unsurpassed combination of professional real estate and marketing counsel to buyers and sellers alike.
